Pixel

Definição

Um pixel (elemento de imagem) é o menor ponto de cor endereçável individualmente em um display digital ou imagem digital.

Explicação

Each pixel on a color display contains sub-pixels for red, green, and blue (RGB), each controllable independently. A 4K display has 3,840 x 2,160 = 8,294,400 pixels. Pixel size on screen depends on display resolution and physical dimensions: a 27-inch 4K monitor has pixels about 0.16 mm wide. In photography, 'megapixel' counts refer to millions of pixels captured by the sensor.
