تسوبو (坪)

التعريف

وحدة مساحة يابانية تساوي مساحة حصيرتي تاتامي، أي نحو 3.306 م² (35.58 قدم مربع)، وتعادل البيونغ الكوري.

الشرح

Defined as one ken squared (roughly 1.818 m × 1.818 m), the tsubo is still widely used in Japanese real estate listings even though metric is the legal standard. An average Japanese apartment of 70 m² is approximately 21 tsubo. The identical Korean pyeong shares the same origin and value; apartment sizes in South Korea are routinely quoted in pyeong alongside square meters.
